Plymouth Steel has excellent business relationships with its raw material suppliers, and we have had the strategic supplier relationships since the mid 1950's. We utilize these long-standing relationships very effectively to the benefit of all parties involved including the customers and suppliers.

We fundamentally believe in treating our suppliers with the same professionalism and courtesy that our customers expect from us. Plymouth's business requires that we typically have inventory to supply all current orders for a two month period. Even if for some reason during an emergency there is unusually high demand for any given product, we are capable of sustaining a 20% increase in planned EAU production on items for which we are a designated strategic supplier.

Reaching this type of relationship with our customers obviously requires a mutual commitment and understanding of the industry in which we operate.
